DIane Barnes Opening! – November 15, 2017

Dear Marshians,

Diane Barnes’ story is one of incredible luck, incredible misfortune, and how tenacious love can be in the face of adversity. It’s the show you should be seeing right now.” –Showbill.ca

There are moments when our lives change significantly. And sometimes, it’s based on some not so great things happening; and sometimes, good things come out of it.

Diane Barnes’ MY STROKE OF LUCK bears witness to this. Diane, a radiologist, has a stroke. She has two teenage boys. She has to get through it. A triumph.

Wildly enough, Jinho “Piper” Ferreira who spectacularly opened COPS & ROBBERS: HUNTER POETRY Friday night along with WolfHawkJaguar and musicians–is Diane Barnes’ cousin.

Can you believe this synchronicity? Two triumphant Marsh shows by two cousins!

COPS & ROBBERS sold out audience LOVED the show. Come see it this week.

And what else? Don’t miss Kate Robards’ AINT THAT RICH this week. In fact, on Saturday night make it a doubleheader and see Diane Barnes’ shows at 5, Kate’s at 8:30pm or Don Reed’s KIPLING HOTEL on Saturday and Sunday.

PLEASE NOTE: This weekend is Brian Copeland’s final 2017 performances of NOT A GENUINE BLACK MAN on Saturday and a FREE performance of THE WAITING PERIOD on Sunday.

Have a wonderful pre-Thanksgiving week.

All my best wishes,
Stephanie Weisman
