Jill Vice, Noir with a Female Twist! – January 21, 2018

Dear Marshians,

Maggie here, I’m writing the newsletter this week as Stephanie is off in New York City at APAP (Association of American Arts Professionals).

With the second annual Women’s March this Saturday, I find myself thinking of all the women.

Celebrate women at The Marsh this weekend
Jill Vice starts A FATAL STEP this Thursday. While the noir game is typically told through a male gaze, Jill flips and gives voice to the femme fatale.

Speaking of women, did you hear that Diane Barnes’ MY STROKE OF LUCK has added in 2 special Sunday matinees: 1/21 & 1/28?

In response to our times, the incomparable David Ford has created TIMES UNSEEN, an ongoing performance project. Join us next Tuesday, January 23 for the first event of 2018.

Unique Derique has two final performances of FOOL LA LA: OVER THE RAINBOW this weekend.

Brian Copeland is continuing his year of free performances with THE WAITING PERIOD returning Sunday and Don Reed has 3 final KIPLING HOTEL shows.

Celebrate women with me,
Maggie Wilson
Marketing Director

P.S. We’re holding a night of music and dancing this Saturday at The Marsh Berkeley, featuring the female band Ruby’s In Town. Join us after the Women’s March 7-9pm.
