What a year!
605 Marsh shows in 2016!
Today’s show #601. We have four more shows left before New Year’s Day.
In Berkeley (3 Shows)
There are 3 final shows of Unique Derique’s FOOL LA LA. Today, Thursday and Friday. So much fun for the whole family. The kids love it. Parents love it. Adults with or without kids love it.
And…everyone’s invited to learn a little hambone and scarf juggling with Derique after the performance.
So…increase your skill set while having a blast during the holiday season.
On the San Francisco side (1 Show)
Al Letson’s SUMMER IN SANCTUARY last performance of 2016 is on Friday. It’s not only a truly fabulous show of social justice and hope, but REVEAL the podcast Al hosts was named #6 in the nation by Atlantic.
So proud of all our 2016 shows!
A Few Highlights:
Don Reed won TBA award for Best Solo Performance for East 14th. It’s back at The Marsh starting January 7.
We are thrilled for Don. His performance about his brother, I MISS TONI, (remember Toni from East 14th?) was selected as the 2016 Snap Judgement Performance of the Year.
Charlie Varon was named the TBA Best Director award for Dan Hoyle’s THE REAL AMERICANS. Dan is bringing The Real Americans to Berkeley starting February 10.
Elaine Magree’s HOLDING THE EDGE won the 2016 Achievement Award from Sui Generis Foundation. We are transferring Holding the Edge to San Francisco starting March 3.
And I would not be doing my job if I didn’t remind you that there are four days left to make a 2016 tax-deductible donation to The Marsh.
Your support is our ballast.
HAVE A HAPPY HAPPY SAFE NEW YEAR!
All my best,
P.S We have a match for all donations $500 and above. We have almost reached our goal!
