YOW! It’s September. Time for beginnings, contemplation, classes.
Ann Randolph’s nationally acclaimed LOVELAND and wildly inspiring and wickedly funny talk/performance/ creative workshop INAPPROPRIATE IN ALL THE RIGHT WAYS, both start the weekend of September 12. That’s next weekend. Woo hoo. So glad to have Ann back on our stage. Not only is she a solo performance star, she’s a teaching star as well. From Esalen to Kripalu and now Barcelona, students flock. So…we are thrilled that both her shows have a post-performance workshop aspect. We are offering 50% off to the first 5 to use the passcode “love” (Loveland) and “right” (Inappropriate in All the Right Ways).
Don Reed protégé, Megan Timpane, moves from a sold-out Marsh Rising to our Studio Stage on September 17 with HAVING CANCER IS HILARIOUS. Both hilarious and moving, this 23 year-old cancer survivor, “Don Reed’s” it on stage. What a performer. What a story.
The Piper’s COPS AND ROBBERS (only on Saturdays).
Don Reed’s STEREOTYPO, Rant and Rumblings at the DMV (must end Oct 3).
Echo Brown’s BLACK VIRGINS ARE FOR HIPSTERS (extended).
Karen Ripley’s OH NO THERE’S MEN ON THE LAND
Brian Copeland’s THE WAITING PERIOD (back September 20),
Marsh Youth Theater has an incredible roster of on-site classes for toddlers through teens. Check out our hip hop, trapeze, storytelling, video and teen performance conservatory offerings.
Classes by solo performance icons, David Ford, Ann Randolph and Charlie Varon.
Interview with Brian Copeland
Brian interviews me on KGO. Parts of it are hilarious, if I must say so myself. But check it out and let me know if I’m just being self prejudicial :).
