Marsh Youth Theater’s Summer Youth Program starts in just a few weeks. We have just found out that we have full scholarship support for San Francisco kids with financial need to take part in our wonderful summer programs.

Starting on June 1, we have our new SUMMER DANCE THEATER/VIDEO CAMP for rising 5th to 9th graders. It’s in association with beloved Marsh teacher Rebecca Cervantes with her Moving Beyond Productions and Jin Joo of CinemaSports who works with youth around the world to make videos for an International Youth Film Festival. In fact, one of these films is being screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Perhaps ours or should I say your child’s will be next year…

Starting June 15, our other new summer program is a PERFORMANCE CONSERVATORY for rising 9th to 12th graders. Taught by Marsh playwright and performer extraordinaire, Ron Jones and Mercy High School’s wonderful drama director Liz McAninch.

Starting June 29 for rising 3rd to 8th graders we have the wonderful Maica Folch teaching a TRAPEZE INTENSIVE and the fantastic Rebecca Cervantes (see picture above) teaching WORLD DANCE.

For more camp information and to apply for financial aid, please go to  Full scholarships if needed on a first come first serve basis and free lunch for all. Please sign up asap!!!

Meanwhile we have this week’s wonderful performances.
