The Marsh strives to make your theater experience as joyful, magical, and easy as possible. There are two ways to buy tickets for shows and events at The Marsh: online any time or by phone on weekday afternoons.
Our San Francisco office is open Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm. To contact the office, please call our administrative line at 415.641.0235. Please note that messages left outside of these hours will not be received until the following business day.
ONLINE BOX OFFICE
To purchase tickets online any time, visit our home page and click on the show you would like to attend. At the bottom of each individual show page, you will find a list of dates in different colors to choose from. You can also visit our online calendar and purchase tickets from there by clicking on the date and show you would like to attend. For all tickets purchased online, there is a $2 fee per ticket.
You will receive an email with a receipt and confirmation of your ticket purchase online. This will let you know what show and date you made a reservation for. Your actual tickets can be picked up at Will-Call 30 minutes prior to showtime. Just tell the box office your name and the house manager will give you the tickets.
TICKETS BY PHONE
You also have the option of purchasing tickets through the phone by calling our Box Office line at 415.282.3055, Monday – Friday, 1pm – 4pm. A friendly Marsh staff member will be happy to help you. Please note for all tickets purchased over the phone, the fee is $2 per ticket PLUS an additional $3 flat phone fee for the transaction.

SLIDING SCALE & SEATING
In order to keep ticket prices as affordable as possible, payment is on a sliding scale based on availability, your ability to pay, and your willingness to support The Marsh. Whether you pay the highest price or the lowest price on the sliding scale, you will have a general admission, open-seating ticket. In other words, there is NO difference in seating between a $15 ticket and a $35 ticket. Any amount you pay above the lowest price just helps to support The Marsh. Unless you specifically purchase a ‘Reserved Seat’ ticket, all seating runs on first-come, first-served basis.
The Marsh offers a limited number of $55 & $100 reserved seats for every performance. If you purchase a Reserved Seating ticket, we will reserve a seat for you in the front center section. For the $55 reserved seats, $25 is a tax-deductible donation to The Marsh. For $100 tickets, $70 is a tax-deductible donation to The Marsh.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee seating accommodation after published show times due to possible show disruptions. This policy includes reserved seating ticket holders. To reschedule or receive a possible refund (although not guaranteed), please call our Box Office.
ACCESSIBILITY & SPECIAL SEATING
You can still purchase a regular ticket online or over the phone if you are disabled or need special accommodations, but we ask that you please call the Administrative Office (415-641-0235) or email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know what show and date you will be attending, and how many special seats you will need. Please note you do not need to purchase a Reserved Seating ($55 or $100) ticket unless you would like to. For more specific information, please visit our Accessibility page.
REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
To request a refund or to reschedule, call our box office at 415.282.3055 during business hours (M-F, 1pm-4pm). Please note that we typically grant refunds to patrons prior to a show, not after the show has passed, except for emergency circumstances including canceled shows and misreported showtimes.

There is also an attended parking garage located on 21st Street between Valencia and Mission.

Located 1 1/2 blocks from the downtown Berkeley BART stop. There is also a parking garage located at 2061 Allston Way and right next door at the Brower Center, with an entrance on Kittredge Street.
