The world is listening to young voices. Malala has the ear of the United Nations, Greta Thornberg’s climate story is changing the world. Simone Jacques and her friends used their voices to lead a protest of thousands from San Francisco’s Mission HIgh.

Tell YOUR story. Whether it’s about crime in your neighborhood, confusing politicians, covid policies, school violence, gender equality, 2SLGBTQ+ rights, and other important issues. Make your voice heard!

Classes will be primarily led by Jessica Litwak,  PhD, RDT, MFA. She is an educator (writing, acting, voice and leadership), an award-winning playwright, an actor, a drama therapist, a puppeteer,  a recognized leader in the field of creative activism and socially engaged theatre, a Fulbright Scholar, and the Artistic Director of The H.E.A.T. Collective.

Additionally there will be monthly Master classes:
Performing at the Top of Your Game (Shirley Stratton Dorittie), presents students with approaches and skills to deal with high pressure situations; promoting adaptability, resilience, confidence and how to react effectively under pressure.
Feldenkrais for Performers (Jean Elvin), somatic awareness through exercises to help ground oneself and be present while performing.
High Quality Sound & Video production (Jin Joo) teaches best practices for using iPhone cameras and microphones to get great film and sound quality.

This is a hybrid program where classes will take place both in-person at The Marsh San Francisco for local participants and internationally on MarshStream.
