About
The Marsh Youth Theater (MYT) provides high quality skill-building classes for youth throughout San Francisco. We partner with afterschool programs and community centers to bring Teaching Artists to sites throughout SFUSD, including classes in Storytelling, Creative Dramatics, Hip Hop & World Dance, Afro-Peruvian Dance, Dances of the African Diaspora, “Classical” Theatre (Plays, Playhouses, & Playfulness!), Making Connections through Puppetry, and Digital Storytelling.
We also offer Spring & Summer Camps, Carnaval Dance class as well as Bailando con Trapecios (Dancing with Trapezes) onsite at The Marsh
Teen Program
Local and global, Voices of Youth: Expressing Yourself in Challenging Times, is a unique opportunity to learn how to make your voice heard through your stories, dance, films and music. Participants will meet weekly with workshop leaders to develop their performances.
