The Marsh Youth Theater department is looking for the following position:
Instructor/Facilitator for Digital Media Art Class
Seeking Instructor/Facilitator for a Digital Media Arts class for teens with The Marsh Youth Theater (MYT). Applicant must have the ability to introduce students to the tools of digital media production and analysis through creative visual storytelling. Guiding students through all phases of filmmaking: storyboarding, directing, shooting, and editing.
Applicant must be familiar with operating various video, sound, and lightning equipment owned by MYT, and skilled at teaching basic editing to students using Adobe Premiere Clip and/or Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
The Marsh Youth Theater digital storytelling classes start March 25th and will take place every Tuesday 4:00pm – 6:00pm and Saturday from 11:00am – 2:00pm weekly through May, 2017.
In June, the Marsh Youth Theater program includes a two-week student immersion Monday – Friday from 2:00pm – 6:00pm. Rate of pay is negotiable based on experience. Applicants with 5+ years experience preferred.
