Show Description
The show begins with Janet’s move from Colorado to San Francisco in 1972 and ends with her performance at the final Solo Sundays show at StageWerx Theatre in 2023. Along the way, her sub-personalities bring to life adventures in theatre, a closed-head injury, a right-wing coup in her psyche, late-in-life love, even-later-in-life parenthood, divorce, and the shock of becoming an elder.
Artist Biography
Janet Thornburg, Writer and Performer
Janet Thornburg has written and performed eight solo shows in San Francisco. Her solo piece, “The Bequest,” was voted Audience Choice Short at the In Front of Your Eyes Festival 2024 at The Marsh in San Francisco. She is currently developing a full-length show with David Ford at The Marsh.
