The world is reeling towards chaos! Wars! Fires! Corruption! The Death of Democracy! It’s an all-out Emergency!!! THIS TIME IS DIFFERENT!
It’s time to get out of denial, stare down the grim reality, and… party? There’s nothing like an encounter with a mysterious stranger at a party: take a risk, lay yourself bare, and – just maybe – find a tiny bit of hope and laughter amidst the chaos.
And so many questions along the way! Starting with something safe…
“Can we just not… like… talk about Fascism?”
“Is the right to eat beef really in the 2nd Amendment?”
If you make it past the chit chat, the questions go deeper:
“Maybe it’s time to drop the whole notion of Reality?”
“Is it already too late?”
And eventually…
“Why the two of us, right here, right now?”
“What’s next?”
Paul Sussman’s latest creation tosses us into the center of the swirl, and offers us lifelines to laugh, to cry, to hope, and to act.

Artist Biography
Paul Sussman has written and performed a series of solo pieces through the eyes of Neanderthals, road-ragers, insects, Anabaptists, cannibals, and others who persist in the search for meaning. He’s entertained and provoked in theater festivals from Fundy to Fresno. Paul developed his unique approach to melodrama and farce through decades of work in financial management with Bay Area nonprofit organizations. “Did She Really Say Tantrum Yoga?” is his third full-length solo show (following “The Wrong Kind of Pessimism” and “Beyond Belief”), entitling him to refer to himself in the third person.
David Ford (director) [whatever David wants/uses] has been collaborating on new and unusual theater for three decades and has been an artist-in-residence at The Marsh for most of that time.
