Plus! Drinking at yoga, sleeping while meditating, nonduality in bed, and accidental enlightenment… Oh, plus, there’s a ukulele.

Artist Biography

Voted Best Comedian in the SF Weekly and Bay Guardian, Best of the Fringe in the SF Fringe twice, and Best Storyteller in the NY United Solo Festival, Alicia has shared the stage with many other brilliant comedians including Maria Bamford, Eugene Mirman, and Arj Barker. Her shows include One Life Stand, The Oy of Sex, Eat, Pray, Laugh!, The Punchline, and The Latest Show on Earth Circus.

She’s also creator of The Spiritual Comedy Festival. Alicia wrote a parody of David Allen’s book Getting Things Done that became an international number-one best-selling book on Amazon, called Getting Shit Done. Her last show, The Oy of Sex premiered Off-Broadway in New York at recently and was listed three weeks running in The New York Times Comedy Section. She’s currently writing a pilot for television. August 17: Opener Adam GordonAdam is a rising star in the San Francisco standup scene. As an actor, he has appeared on Law and Order: Criminal Intent (where he found a body in a trunk). Adam is a founder of This Theater Company in New York where he produced and performed in The Debating Society and 4B. He is a graduate of the National Theater Conservatory at the Denver Center Theater Company.

August 18: Opener Katie Rubinis a nationally touring Solo Performer, Comic, and Regional Theater/Commercial Actress. She has an MFA in Acting, teaches Acting and Improv at Stanford and A.C.T. She is currently on commission to develop her 6th solo show for Capital Stage and you can see her on stage next in SF Playhouse’s production of “You Mean To Do Me Harm” starting in Sept.
