What’s a disaster if you don’t have time to marvel at it? Rebecca’s aunt has a point. Natural disasters have scientific reasons for happening. Human disasters are harder to piece apart. Rebecca’s family journey from southern gentility to mayhem and tragedy is no easy disaster to make sense of. But while she does, Rebecca may as well linger and absorb the magnificence of it all.
Artist Biography
Rebecca Fisher is a director, producer, and performer of solo work. Most recently she performed MEMPHIS ON MY MIND at The Marsh Berkeley, a show developed with Charlie Varon and an SF Best of Fringe show. She has directed shows at The Exit, SF Fringe Festival, and most recently Mark Kenward’s NANTUCKET at The Marsh. She is a co-producer of Tell It On Tuesday, now in its 11th year, and creator of The Marsh Writing Cabaret that is on the second Tuesday of every month.
