About the Show

“They just thought I was eccentric – but that wasn’t all there was to it.”

Rosie’s Brain is a delightful and heartwarming one-woman musical comedy about a young woman who battles anxiety and OCD. The story follows Rosie from her initial struggles with anxiety to her first day at college. There, she faces a new challenge: a fear of dating so intense she can’t even hold a guy’s hand.

We follow Rosie as she dives into therapy in an attempt to unlock her fear of intimacy and find love. Throughout the ups and downs, Rosie emerges stronger, learning to trust herself despite her diagnoses. This poignant and humorous musical explores the complexities of mental health and the journey toward self-belief and resilience, offering an uplifting performance filled with laughter and heart.

After having performed in the UK, this is the first US performance.

Artist Biographies

Evelyn Rose (Writer & Performer) is a songwriter, recording artist, vocalist, and actor with over a decade of experience in the performing arts. She holds a Master’s degree in Musical Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, one of the world’s leading conservatories. In February 2025, Evelyn starred in her original one-woman musical, Rosie’s Brain, which premiered at an Off West End theatre in London to critical acclaim, garnering multiple four- and five-star reviews. That December, she released her Christmas EP, Who Brought the Mistletoe?, and performed a sold-out release concert at San Francisco’s Martuni’s Bar, accompanied by Broadway pianist Nick Perez. Currently, Evelyn is recording four original singles slated for release in Spring 2026 while continuing to perform as both a vocalist and actress across London and the San Francisco Bay Area. She is represented by Pemberton Associates in London and Beyer Management in the United States.

Noah Bossert (Musical Director) is a passionate music educator, performer, and vocal coach hailing from Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with an undergraduate degree in Music Education and graduate degree in Education Policy and Analysis. Focusing on access to music education-for-all is his top priority as an educator and advocate. He started his teaching career as a high school choir and general music teacher in Milwaukee. There, he provided musical opportunities to all students through accompanying and arranging for the choirs, leading hip-hop cyphers, and teaching general music. Upon moving to the Bay Area, as a performer Mr. Bossert continues to perform in all-request shows at dueling piano clubs. As a musical director, he continues to direct shows at San Francisco University High School while teaching vocal music as a faculty member, and coaches singers who perform at theaters throughout the Bay. Later this May, he is heading to the Tank in NYC to music direct the show S**, Camp, Rock n’ Roll, with many wonderful friends from the Bay, some of whom he continues to perform with in local cabarets and in his newest collaboration, the band Ruby Day & The Knights.
