Show Description
You want satire? We have satire! Fiddling Poet, Ken Waldman, has processed Donald Trump’s unlikely rise by writing 220 sonnets in the two years after the November 2016 election. That’s three ambitious books. 75 poems are in trump’s voice, plus 145 are commentary. Here Waldman brings a musical accompanist so the show is a combination of Appalachian-style string-band music, original poetry, and stories of how Waldman wrote these poems–and what’s happened when he’s read them around the country, including to arch-conservatives. www.trumpsonnets.com
