The Barony is an independent, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization (84-2863709) registered in the state of California. (4323799). We are the administrative body for The Court of Many Colors, Cultures, Equity and Inclusion.
This organization was founded in 2019 to raise funds for charitable organizations within Alameda, Contra Costa & Santa Clara Counties.
We specifically fundraise for organizations who service LGBTQIA members of the community. To accomplish this goal The Court hosts monthly fundraisers and mixers. Each year our organization contributes thousands of dollars to various charities including, but not limited to: House of Loving Hands (www.houseoflovinghands.org), Oakland LGBTQ Center (oaklandlgbtqcenter.org), Alameda County Community Food Bank (www.accfb.org), East Bay AIDS Project (www.apeb.org), Richmond Rainbow Pride (www.richmondrainbowpride.org), the Pacific Center (www.pacificcenter.org) and Hers Breast Cancer Foundation (hersbreastcancerfoundation.org) just to name a few. These organizations provide much needed service to marginalized community members and depend of public funding to thrive and continue. We host many fundraising events, in their name, in an effort to keep them funded and keep their doors open and continue to make their services available to those who desperately need them.
