Joshua Raoul Brody

Plays His Favorite Beatles Songs
AND Accompanies YOU On YOURS!

Lovable (if not actually beloved) accompanist-about-town Joshua Raoul Brody recreates the event he’s been hosting at venues around the Bay Area for over ten years. He’ll play some of his favorite Beatles songs, then point the microphone at the camera and have you take over.

Check out a little interview Joshua did with
Bob Martin of SF’s Presidio Theatre.

Joshua Raoul Brody is a pianist, composer, arranger, music director,  vocal coach and teacher. He is best known for his work providing instant accompaniment for improv groups like BATS Improv (for whom he is music director), True Fiction Magazine, and Awkward Dinner Party, among many others. He has appeared at the Marsh dozens of times, mainly with his songwriting partner Merle “Ian Shoales” Kessler, with whom he has co-created literally several “one-man shows so big it takes two guys, sometimes a gal, and a six-pack of beer to do them”. He also appeared as part of The Residents’ Sam’s Enchanted Evening, and has both opened for and participated in Tell It On Tuesday. He’s done a bunch of stuff elsewhere, too, but isn’t that enough for now?
