Marketing/Social Media Fellow
Description:
The Marsh is expanding and integrating its marketing activities into social networking and online networks. We are seeking someone that has experience with social media but is also interested in diving deeper into analytics. Examples: How many conversations is a photo getting vs a video? How many shares does a close up photo get vs a group shot? the Marketing Intern will work closely with the Marketing Director and other staff to implement marketing tactics to improve ticket sales for The Marsh performances.
Internship Requirements:
The ideal person is someone who is detail-oriented, computer-savvy, committed to finishing tasks and loves new challenges and ideas. Self-motivation and strong people skills are essential. We are especially interested in people that have a deep interest in theater but also nerd out over analytics. We are a small team on a tight budget that is putting on over 600 performances a year. We are looking for an intern that can help us as we move to the next level of digital marketing. Must be creative but also excel in administrative work.
Experience in the following preferable but not necessary if the candidate is willing to quickly become an expert!

What sets your internship apart?
Not only will you assist the Marketing Director in executing marketing campaigns, social media posts, and tracking results, but you will gain knowledge in all aspects of running a theater company. The Marsh creates a well-rounded working and learning experience for its interns. Interns will get a chance to be apart of a dynamic, creative, and hardworking group of theater professionals.

Self starter, diligent worker who is creative but also willing to grow within a role that is a combination of marketing and admin work. Someone who can quickly learn and problem solve. Someone who can engage with performers, patrons, and donors.
