Midlife gets a dose of music and magic in this transformational take on Oz. Singer-songwriter Amy MacClain plays Dottie, stumbling along the faded brick road of life. She’s joined by a cast of re-imagined characters, all played by comic actor Molly Kittle. Be whisked away on a cyclone of laughter, introspection, and magic with original melodies, magical encounters, mystical revelations, and personal triumphs. A vibrant celebration of life’s twists, turns, and the radiant possibilities awaiting all of us when we tap into consciousness, love, courage, and personal power. Emerge wiser and more inspired for your one precious life.

Amy has a unique blend of creative and organizational mojo and a passion for courageous change-making. As a Program Director, Training Director and DEI Consultant, she’s coached leaders, teams and individuals through both operational and social emotional aspects of creating truly inclusive cultures. As a songwriter and performer, Amy’s transformational songs and gatherings have supported thousands of listeners to remember their power, agency and light. Having led, facilitated and performed for over 30 years, Amy creates practical (and still magical), engaging learning experiences to help people to build resilient, equitable and accountable spaces, engaging interactively to dismantle systemic oppression while opening to personal growth and leadership development.
Amy has presented to more than 100,000 people and her curriculum has reached half a million. Her clients include Apple, Cardinal Health, Anita Borg Institute, USC, Golden State Warriors, and Gartner. She has a BA in Psychology from UC San Diego and advanced training in Organizational Development, Nonviolent Communication, Social Emotional Learning, Somatic Experiencing, Contextual Leadership, Trauma-informed Mindfulness, Developmental Neuroscience and ReEvaluation Counseling.

A graduate from the Experimental Theater Wing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Molly has applied her improv and experience design skills in a variety of leadership roles and creative pursuits. She spent more than a decade in tech, becoming a VP of Strategy, applying game theory, positive reinforcement and fast feedback to help fortune 2000 clients worldwide see measurable increases in employee engagement and customer satisfaction. In 2012 she was named one of the top women in gamification. She’s spoken at South x Southwest, and has been an advisor or board member for several organizations including Total Women Empowerment and The Hunt.
In 2017 Molly founded Connect with Story, an organization devoted to hosting story-sharing events where participants could experiment with speaking, sharing and cultivating authentic presence. Molly’s ability to create psychological safety and expand people’s capacity for play, connection and visibility, grew the community to over 500 people who continue to gather and interact in inspiring ways. Connect with Story has hosted almost 150 events. She also coaches leaders, creatives, parents and performers to tap into their “Why” and get unstuck in their lives. Molly is no stranger to writing, acting and directing including Vicarious; a two-person character-driven show at the 2001 NYC Fringe. In 2012 she co-produced the sold-out hit The Groove Factory at the world-renowned NYC Musical Theater Festival. She’s delighted to be weaving her broad skill sets of community building, personal development and creative experience design together to co-create After the Rainbow; the show and the movement.
